BCBG: this season BCBG really used bold colors that were cut off but lines of softer beiges and whites. I personally love BCBG. I feel like you can never lose with one of their outfits. Here are my favorites:
Organic by John Patrick used a lot of softer pastels on cute spring/ summer dressed. Trenches and blazers were brought in to bring in a more sophisticated look. SOme of the florals may be a little grandma for me.... but.... her are a few that i liked most:

Richard Chai Love had a very fresh young look to his line. The colors were soft blues and beiges and he spiced it up it some pink often. He actually made me start to like the floral patters and the jump suits... ever was really feeling it before....Here are a few favs:

Vena Cava had a lot of beading and fishnet in their lineup. We seem to see this paint splatter print come up again and it seems to come up in other lines aswell.
Lutz and Patmos has easy cashmere sweaters, crochet lace dresses, and ruffled top maxidresses to complete this collection. Althought interesting, i felt this line was a little too messy for me. The white garments look like sheets that were cut with scissors. :( Am i right?
The darker garments seem to be a little more neater.
Toni Maticevsice: Who could make dirty looking garments look so sexy and romantic? Don't understand what i mean? Well, in this collection we really see more of this artsy paint thing going on with the garments again. Beautifully draped garments really demonstrate the designers romantic side and it really show sex appeal for these stick figured models. See what i mean..
Ports 1961 spring 2010 collection is a japanese garden inspired collection. We can really see how the designer incorporated origami in the line. Kimonos are taken to a whole new level as design motifs. This line was magnificent. Never have I seen so many different pieces. THere were so many that i had a hard time cutting them down.
Chadwich Bell's line up this season was much more professional and sophisticated. We definetley are getting a polished look in the collection even though its loose fabrics drape over the body. It does it in such a way where it shows curves and hugs the body to show femininity.
LAMB: Gwen is a genius. You look at her line and the colors and shoulder shirts are what really capture your attention. I like that she incorporated those leggings in her outfits too because it brings the look down for street wear. She has good natural color combinations. I wasnt really always a fan of LAMB but this line up looked like the clothes in my closet! AWESOME!
Chado Raph Rucci's clothing looks expensive but comments were it looks for an older crowd. 30's and up were seen to be the crowd that sat front row of Chado's runway show. Psh. i like it... i'd wear it... and im 21.

I actually didn't like Max Azria and Richard Chai much, specifically for their beige pieces. Did you check out Farah Angsana? OMG her selections were beautiful! I don't completely support fur but i do like the look it produces and her pieces had some innovative fur use.
Also Mackage delivered a nice collection. Nothing really innovative but i loved their outwear pieces!
I like beige because its classic ageless and clean looking. Not everyone can wear it. Farah Angsah i put for wed b/c thats when my models got fitted. CHeck it out.
